Singer-songwriter, producer and visual effects artist...

 

Combining nostalgic synthesised sounds with choral harmonies and modern production techniques, Oscar Bird strives to bring the best of the old and new together to create a unique sonic palette.

He has developed an obsession with vocal harmony and reverb, this comes from being a choir member as a child… In the studio, he always tries to recreate that same ‘dark magic’ moment of multiple voices cascading through a large space.

His experience in 3d graphics and visual effects has been used to create music videos and artwork for his releases, creating a symbiotic relationship between the visual and audio manifestations of his inner world.

In January 2023 he released an EP "Strangers" - largely composed in lockdown (or “The event that shall not be named”) and has been gigging the south coast.

He also performs with as lead singer of alt-pop and post-punk duo "SILVER TOWER" with producer Louis Greaves.
